Graduated in law from the University of Montreal in 1989, Me Labrie is a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1990.

Me Labrie began his career at the criminal department of the legal aid before acting as counsel for the prosecution before several Municipal Courts (Longueuil 1990-1995) (Brossard 1993-2001).

He is also a professor at the Polytechnic school since 1998 and a lecturer invited by various police departments, the CEGEP Maisonneuve (police techniques), the Association des avocats de la défense de Montréal and the Barreau de Longueuil.

Me LaBrie pleads before the courts of first instance, the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
